Basset Hounds
Basset hounds are recognizable in a photo and are often pictured in their kennel.
If proper training is applied, the dogs become obedient and well behaved. However, their natural instincts of scenting dogs are so strong that when they pick up an interesting smell, it is rather hard to get their attention. The instincts cannot be trained out of them, but they can be controlled.

These dogs are sweet, devoted, friendly, peaceful and naturally docile. It is hard to find a breed that fits into a family life better.
